US EIA’s short term energy outlook forecasts growth from wind and solar

(Source: Solar Industry Magazine) U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) have just released their short-term energy outlook; it predicts a surge in electricity production from utility-scale renewable projects which might account for over 14% of the country’s total electricity generated. Wind and solar are projected to generate 5.2 percent and 0.8 percent respectively. Read full article
